Seriously go down to a 75 inch or look at the Sony X900H, Vizio PS, or Samsung Q80T for 85 inch sets instead. Oh look its an 86 inch TV with an IPS PANEL! So its on the same shit tier level as the 86 inch LG Nanocell! There is no Rtings review but its a double LCD meaning poorer brightness compared to the TU8000 but again the TCL 5, 6, Vizio MQ7, & MQ8 would all be recommended before this set. Its the TU8000 but curved, a pointless TV for anyone to buy in 2020. Both are 60Hz TVs with VA panels, but the TCL supports a wide color gamut for HDR content, it can get brighter, and the out-of-box color accuracy is significantly better.

"The TCL 5 Series/S525 2019 is a slightly better TV than the Samsung TU8000. The 2019 RU8000 supports a wide color gamut, it can get much brighter, it removes judder, the response time is significantly better, and it supports variable refresh rate technology for a nearly tear-free gaming experience." "The Samsung RU8000 is a better TV than the Samsung TU8000. Rtings: "Although it's easy to think it's a replacement to the RU8000, it performs similarly to the RU7100." Vizio Mxx8 Quantum Series (2019, 90 Zones) Unfortunately, it doesn't get very bright, it has bad viewing angles, and its color accuracy is just okay."ĭon't believe me? Here's the Rtings scores = Samsung TU7000 - 6.8 TCL S405/S425 - 6.8 TCL S525 - 7.1 Vizio Mxx7 (2019) - 7.7 Vizio MQ7 (2019) - ? It replaces 2018's NU6900 however, its overall performance doesn't quite match up to its predecessor.

Rtings: "The Samsung TU7000 is an okay, entry-level 4k TV for the budget-conscious. Vizio Mxx7 Quantum Series (2019, 12-20 Zones) The Samsung Q80T and higher are still good TV's however. Samsung really is using their prior good name and marketing to get people to buy them.
